Semarang, undip.ac.id - Spatial planning in rural areas is very important and urgent, it was presented by Dr. Imam Buchori Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the symposium to the rural areas of spatial planning for sustainable rural development in the seminar room of Regional and City Planning Department Undip, Thursday (24/11) morning. "A good spatial villages would have good consequences for urban as well as at least the absorption due to urbanization of human resources in rural areas than in cities". he said
"Spatial rural areas should be done with the ideal kaedah so it can be agropolitan area. Agropolitan itself is a concept developed rural areas and is a solution in the development of rural areas. With formation of agropolitan area then there will be access from the community products to the market. Because during this if we see the failure of the transmigration program one of them is the lack of access to markets ". he added


"In addition it should set the rural village of the town which is the service center for the surrounding area, so the distribution of raw materials pengasil village, village to village collecting raw materials production centers can distribute to the towns and villages of the rural town to the big city"


Other speakers lecturer PWK Undip Rudiarto Iwan said the purpose of rural development is to improve the quality of rural community


The concept is more specific than the concept of rural development that includes an integrated three-dimensional; economic, social, and politik.Walaupun transformed the concept of rural development from time to time but the dominant activity in rural development is still farming "he said


"At this time of rural development has been transformed into a more extensive and complex. Land resources is still a major factor in rural development in developing countries.


Spatial planning should be able to accommodate the needs of land for production activities pertanian.Dibutuhkan a sustainable approach to land use to be able to support agricultural activities by involving various stakeholders and also the policy of land diambil.Perhatian spatial needs not only focus on urban areas so as not to further enlarge the urban bias and neglected rural planning.Produk should be able to separate the spatial arrangement between urban and rural spatial planning à Rural Development Strategy "he added


Section of Law and Legislation Ministry of Public Works said that the concept Wisnubroto Sarosa agropolitan development of rural areas is an approach that is very good for our society and relefan


"Agropolitan is an approach to rural development through efforts to foster small towns based on agriculture as part of the urban system with the intention of creating a balanced development and rural-urban and regional development synergistic" He said
